Thomas & Friends

Out And About

Season 6, Episode 9 of 10

The engines were preparing for the Sodor Kite Gala. Thomas is very excited because he loves kites. Sir Topham Hatt's grandchildren are up on Gordon's Hill with their multi-colored kite. When the wind blows their kite away, Thomas promises to catch it for them. Charlie wants to help Thomas catch the runaway kite, but Thomas doesn't want any help. Thomas is sure he can catch it all by himself. Thomas soon realizes that catching runaway kites is really tricky and he can't do it all by himself. It is only with the help of his friends that Thomas finally catches the runaway kite. Thomas is excited because he has to deliver new white bee hives/houses to Farmer Trotter. Hiro warns Thomas to puff through the shady woodland so that the bees can rest. At a junction, Thomas decides the bees would find the track by the flowery field much prettier! Chaos! The bees swarm to the flowers and won't come back! Thomas leaves the hives and chuffs off to borrow Hiro's flatbed of flowers, to entice the bees back to him. It works except that Thomas is now covered by a swarm of bees!! Eventually, Thomas admits his mistake and takes the flower flatbed back to the hives. He then takes the shady track, the bees return to the hives and Farmer Trotter has his bees and bee hives!
