Celebrating its 87th year, the Lighting of the National Christmas Tree signals the start of the holiday season across the country. Taped at President's Park in Washington, D.C., the 60-minute special is hosted by hip-hop artist Common and will include appearances and performances by blues legend B.B. King, Maroon 5, Sara Bareilles, new singing sensation Jackie Evancho, Jim James of the alt-rock band My Morning Jacket and others. The evening's festivities will be capped off with the ceremonial lighting of the National Christmas Tree -- by a very special guest!
