Hide And Seek

Episode 1 of 1

There were 1.6 million Jewish children living in Europe at the start of World War II. More than a million of them died in the Holocaust. Those who survived often did so because they were hidden from the Nazis. Sometimes they assumed new identities, or they were physically concealed from sight and moved from place to place. Featuring the personal testimony of 21 of these child survivors from around the world, HIDE AND SEEK reveals the poignant story of children separated from family and living in a constant shadow of fear. Using photographs and dramatic recreations, the lives of these displaced children caught up in the horrific circumstances of war are made real.
