Malt Shop Memories: The Concert

Episode 1 of 1

It was a time of record hops, cars with big fins, pony tails and beehives. The future was bright and the music on the radio and in juke boxes became the soundtrack for the rest of your life. It was a time filled with music that makes you feel good and makes you smile. It takes you back to a simpler more innocent time-it's about the cars, the clothes, dances and old friends all those great memories. These are the songs that make you feel young again. It was a time of creative songwriting and memorable vocal performances. The concert was recorded at Caesars in Atlantic City and brought together 12 of the greatest living legends from the late 50's and early 60's and their phenomenal music for one fantastic evening. The show is hosted by Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell and Fabian - who also perform. Lifestyle footage from this wonderful era is included, along with archival performance footage from The Four Seasons, Martha and The Vandells', The Beach Boys and Dion and The Belmonts.
