Daniel O'DOnnell From the Heartland

Episode 1 of 1

Beloved Irish crooner, Daniel O'Donnell returns to PBS with his melodic voice performing live in the Hawkeye state. Daniel exudes the same passion and unique sense of humor that has been fascinating audiences for years in this new concert special "Daniel O'Donnell from the Heartland." Daniel mixes it up a bit this time around by sharing several seldom-seen recordings like "Distant Drums, " "Farside Banks of Jordan" and paying tribute to some of the greatest artists of all time with Loretta Lynn's "Standing Room Only" and Andy Williams' "Moon River." Daniel's renditions of these country and pop hits are sure to bring joy and nostalgia to viewers at home. Of course Daniel doesn't forget about his fan favorites as he opens the show with the uplifting "Stand Beside Me" and closes with the quintessentially beloved song "Rivers of Babylon." His dancing on stage is contagious to viewers who will be noticing their toes spontaneously tapping to the beat.
