Az Illustrated Arts

Season 1, Episode 13 of 52

AZ Illustrated Arts looks at Casa Libre’s Trans and Genderqueer Poetry Symposium, a 4-day event that provides a positive, clarifying, and appreciative light on this community and their diverse work. Next, Tucson-based violinist Beth Daunis performs, accompanied by Phil Lipman on guitar. Then, we interview the lead actors from Rogue Theatre’s production of Shakespeare’s “Richard III.” Next we look at Artworks, a local, grass-roots program providing all-day art classes for adults with developmental disabilities. And, we explore a dance film celebrating the plant and animal species that will be impacted by the proposed Rosemont Mine.
