This year's Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song was given to Carole King -- the first lady of pop music songwriting -- whose career has crossed six decades. The President of the United States and Mrs. Obama welcome King and a collection of stars to celebrate with performances from Billy Joel, James Taylor, Trish Yearwood, Emili Sande, Jesse McCartney and Carole King herself, all from the East Room of the White House.
