P. Allen Smith demonstrates the design principle of Whimsy and asks, "What's a garden without a few whimsical touches?" Allen introduces us to some comical additions to the Garden Home Retreat, Khaki Campbell ducklings and also, a few tips on keeping insects off of the herbs in the one-acre vegetable garden. We'll also meet an ironworker who makes gingerbread houses and other lighted displays for Garvan Woodland Gardens.
