PBS News Weekend

Season 1, Episode 11 of 99

On Saturday, we look at the remarkable story of six former prisoners from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. These ethnic Chinese men known as Uighurs were rounded up in Afghanistan and Pakistan after 9/11. They spent eight years in prison before being cleared of any wrongdoing by U.S. courts, and now find themselves stranded in a legal and political limbo on the tiny Pacific island nation of Palau. That, and the weekend's news, online and on-air.
