The Paradise, Part Three

This adaptation of the beloved French novel by Emile Zola is a rags to riches story of a young woman seduced by the dangerous charms of the modern world. Set against the Victorian splendor of a British department store, "The Paradise" follows Denise Lovett who lands a job as a shop girl and finds herself facing a future filled with never-before-imagined opportunities. Miss Audrey falls ill and Moray must appoint one of the girls as her substitute, causing the rivalry between Denise and Clara to intensify. Meanwhile, Katherine is enjoying the affections of new suitor Peter Adler, but she is still conflicted about her lingering feelings for Moray. A surprising character finds the cause of Miss Audrey's illness, and Moray steps in to bring her back to health.
