Bali

Season 1, Episode 9 of 26

THEME: Responsibility for a pet; hard work. Bali's neighbour Madame Olga leaves her large aquarium with Bali's family to take care of while she's away on vacation. This inspires an excited Bali to ask his parents if he could have a pet of his own. His parents are hesitant, for they tell him a pet is a lot of responsibility and Bali seems more preoccupied with playing with his friends then helping with the fish tank. Staring at the fish, Bali goes into his dream. He finds himself deep under the sea in a submarine. With the submarine's captains help, Bali learns the importance and benefits of being responsible. Back in 'reality', Bali decides not to play with his friends, but to help his dad clean the fish tank. Bali's parents and Madame Olga (having returned) are impressed with Bali. And to his delight, allow him to choose a fish as his pet.
