NOBEL PEACE PRIZE CONCERT 2011

Episode 1 of 1

For the past 18 years, the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony has been followed the next day by the Nobel Peace Prize Concert, a musical celebration honoring the year's Laureates. The 2011 edition of the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE CONCERT, recorded at the Oslo Spektrum Arena, boasts a eclectic line-up of award-winning international musicians, including David Gray, Jill Scott, Evanescence, Janelle Monae, Sugarland, Angelique Kidjo and the World Youth Choir. The co-hosts, OscarĀ®-winning actress Helen Mirren and actress and activist Rosario Dawson, introduce the achievements of the three honorees: Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Leymah Gbowee of Liberia and Tawakkul Karman of Yemen, for their non-violent struggle on behalf of women's rights.
