BAND OF COURAGE is a dramatic special, driven by the music and the story of eight musicians who were brought together on the only voyage of the Titanic and whose names will forever be linked for their extraordinary courage against the back story of the Edwardian Era, the great ship and those who heard them play. The program features new recordings of 18 songs taken from the officially issued "White Star Songbook" that was provided to the musicians and first class passengers. Each composition was recorded in the style, arrangement and instrumentation as it was heard on the Titanic - many of the songs from the last night, played by the musicians in an effort to provide some peace, calm and dignity to those who were facing death.
