Chris Anderson (Curator Of Ted)

Season 2, Episode 11 of 13

"Curiosity is the fire that makes learning possible." Chris Anderson What does it take to change the world? Chris Anderson believes it's all about sharing great ideas and making them accessible to all. He's the curator of TED, the non-profit organization that started out 25 years ago as a conference where great thinkers could share their ideas in engaging presentations. When the former publisher bought TED in 2001, he decided that everyone should have access to this information. So he made videos of these presentations, named them TED Talks, and made them free to people throughout the world on the Internet. TED has become a global phenomenon. The combination of great ideas, and the human connections they create, has inspired people everywhere to learn, grow, and change. Today, TED has expanded into a series of initiatives - each with the goal of gathering the very best minds from around the world. Chris' passion for connecting people, embracing curiosity and encouraging learning is truly admirable. His efforts make TED a gift of inspiration for us all.
