Their conversation focuses on Ukraine, its people, history and role within the region as well as the country's difficult relationship with Russia. Ambassador Taylor served as U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine from 2006 - 2009. Currently he serves as Vice President for the Middle East and Africa at the United States Institute of Peace.
