On Sunday, since the financial crisis, small business lending has declined substantially, even as more and more small businesses are started every year. But while banks have pulled back, new types of nonbank online lenders have stepped in as alternatives, using technology to make fast decisions about relatively small loans. While these new lenders are extending credit to businesses unable to get loans before, is it coming at too high of a price?
