Everglades: To Hell And Back

Season 1, Episode 1 of 5

To many, the Everglades is a place that appears like a scene from the age of the dinosaurs. It is a place where a slow-moving mass of water more than 60 kilometers (approx. 37 miles) wide advances only 30 centimeters (12 in.) every hour. It is a place where the habitat changes dramatically as you drop only 60 centimeters (23.6 in.) in altitude, and also a place where an abundance of life can be found, from big cats and alligators to sharks.
