William "Bill" Havens is a US Air Force Korean War veteran who is buried at Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Marana. He was interred there when he died in November 2016 at the age of 82 due to complications from prostate cancer. After serving in the air force, Havens finished his education and eventually moved to Tucson with his young family where Havens established the department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Arizona in the 1970s.
