SB 1062: State legislators put Arizona in the national spotlight again, this time with a bill that would allow businesses refuse service to lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgendered people based on religious beliefs.
TUCSON MAY INCREASE BUS FARES: Earlier this week the Tucson City Council identified about $4.8 million in potential savings in the Sun Tran transit budget, possibly through raising bus fares and changing some bus routes.
NEW ROAD AROUND RAYTHEON: The Pima County Board of Supervisors approved Wednesday funding to build a new parkway in southeastern Tucson for higher traffic volume, a decision that has Raytheon, the area's largest private employer, very happy.
