The UA College of Science lecture series is in its 11th year. The series examines a scientific topic with UA and visiting researchers presenting hour-long lectures at 2,000-seat Centennial Hall. Putting together the series takes months of planning and preparation and is accomplished with a university-community (town and gown) committee. The faculty chosen to give the lectures rehearse their presentations before their peers and the planning committee. We take a behind-the-scenes look at how this successful series comes together.
