The Banner Alzheimer's Institute (BAI) has announced plans to build a multidisciplinary memory and research center in Tucson.
The 10,000-square-foot Toole Family Memory Center will house research as well as patient and family services.
It is part of a collaboration with the University of Arizona and an ongoing focus by BAI on forging scientific collaborations.
Scheduled to open in the spring of 2020, the center will offer outpatient services for cognitive and non-cognitive behavior problems; a program to connect patients with clinical trials; and education, family and community services programs.
