Tumamoc Biodiversity

A team of researchers from the University of Arizona has been quietly studying the area's wide diversity of flora and fauna.

The University of Arizona's Desert Laboratory on Tumamoc Hill hired student scientists from the university in 2019 to help with tracking the different types of flora and fauna on the property. It encompasses hundreds of acres and has become a popular destination for people who want to exercise.
