Integrative Medicine

UA Professor Esther Sternberg introduces to us the seven domains of integrative medicine and the effects of stress on our physical and mental health.

As the COVID-19 pandemic surges on, we find ourselves in the midst of a potentially devasting mental health crisis. Navigating through this new normal that is mired in uncertainty and upheavel is daunting, and we all need help in finding new coping skills. We sat down with Esther Sternberg, MD, and Research Director of The Andrew Weil Institute for Intregrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, to look at proven strategies for reducing stress and anxiety that everyone can incorporate into their daily life.
