PBS News Weekend

Season 3, Episode 19 of 86

On Saturday, NewsHour Weekend explores the toll that varying state laws governing compensation for wrongfully convicted people have on the exonerated. While some states offer sizable settlements to those who've later been found innocent, at least 20 offer nothing. And even for those that do, it may not be enough to make up for the emotional damage experienced by those who've been wrongfully convicted. Hari Sreenivasan reports. That, and the weekend's news, online and on-air.
