State of the Union Religious Reaction - After President Obama outlined his vision for the nation in this week's State of the Union address, Host Bob Abernethy talks with Managing Editor Kim Lawton and Religion News Service Editor-in-Chief Kevin Eckstrom about what people of faith think of the president's proposals. Halki Seminary - One of the longest-standing priorities on the US international religious freedom agenda is the reopening of the Theological School Halki in Turkey. Once the world's leading Eastern Orthodox seminary, Halki was shut down by the Turkish government in 1971. Managing Editor Kim Lawton looks at the ongoing international campaign to see it reopened. Singer/Songwriter and Spiritual Seeker Bruce Cockburn - At 69, the Canadian musician has been described as a combination of Bob Dylan and Gandhi. Over his 50-year career he has produced 31 albums and received numerous awards. Cockburn spoke with correspondent Bob Faw about his experience of the presence of God, a connection he often feels, he says, when he is performing.
