Queen's Diamond Jubilee - a Year to Remember

Episode 1 of 1

This documentary is the story of the queen's Diamond Jubilee celebration in 2012. From the nationwide street parties to the spectacular pomp and pageantry on the river Thames, millions turned out to thank Queen Elizabeth II for 60 years of selfless devotion. We see Prince Harry charming Jamaica and even racing Usain Bolt, all the while praising his grandmother, his inspiration and mentor. And even the unexpected hiccups; the downpours and Prince Philip's illness, only served to highlight Her Majesty's extraordinary resilience and sense of duty. And as is traditional, hundreds of thousands gathered at Buckingham Palace for the spine-tingling finale, to salute a remarkable Queen.
