This episode revolves around Wishbone's trip to the veterinarian and R obert Louis Stevenson's "The Black Arrow", a novel which uses the hist orical War of the Roses as a backdrop for a story filled with murder, romance, and treachery. Richard Sheldon, played by our favorite dog, d iscovers his trusted guardian is his father's murderer and the captor of the woman he loves. The program jumps back and forth between Richar d's quest to save Joanna and Wishbone's search for his favorite chair, accidently given away by Wanda. In the end both are successful in the ir pursuits.
