National Christmas Tree Lighting

Now in its 93nd year, the lighting of the National Christmas Tree signals the start of the holiday season across the country. The one-hour concert will be taped on Thursday, December 3rd at President's Park in Washington, D.C. The evening's festivities will be capped off with the ceremonial lighting of the National Christmas Tree, which is traditionally handled by the President and First Family. This yearly festival of lights will feature music legends Crosby, Stills & Nash , multi-platinum selling artists Fall Out Boy; retro-pop-soul singer Andra Day ; singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tori Kelly ; and musician and producer Trombone Shorty . Other performers during the concert will include The Joyous String Quartet , Bellamy Young, Aloe Blacc , and the U.S. Coast Card Band ...with a special appearance by Miss Piggy!
