“Sonoran Pronghorn Recovery” - The endangered Sonoran pronghorn is slowly making a comeback in southwestern Arizona thanks to the efforts of Arizona Game and Fish and its many partners. 26 more animals were recently released into the wild, bringing their numbers up to about 300, after a low of only 21 in 2002. “Golden Eagle Rescue” – Thanks to the efforts of a lot of people a golden eagle that survived being hit by a semi-truck on I-40 was successfully released back into the wild. “Phoenix Zoo – Partners in Conservation” - See what the Phoenix Zoo is doing to conserve Arizona's at-risk native species like the Mt. Graham red squirrel, the narrow-headed garter snake, and the spring snail.
