Faced with some of the most expensive rental housing in the nation, many San Francisco Bay Area residents are feeling priced out and are seeking radical alternatives. Some residents of Silicon Valley, the mecca for American computer and technology companies an hour's drive south of San Francisco, are even turning to cars, vans and RV's for housing.
