Cyndi Lauper, the Grammy, Tony and Emmy Award winning singer and social activist, sits down with Tony and Emmy Award winner Billy Porter, star of the Broadway musical "Kinky Boots," to discuss how not only music, but how "Kinky Boots" has changed their lives and the importance of self-acceptance. The pair met when Lauper was writing the music and lyrics to the musical and formed a great friendship. In 2013 Kinky Boots was nominated for 13 Tony Awards and took home six, including the coveted Award for Best Musical. Lauper's win for Best Score makes her the first woman to win alone in that category and Porter took home the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical.
