In his first televised concert with his personal band, internationally acclaimed tenor Ronan Tynan goes where few singers dare to tread: performing songs from several musical genres such as rock, opera and country, among others. Shot cabaret-style in a Maryland Public Television studio, RONAN TYNAN: MORE THAN MAGIC features an eclectic set list which includes Bruce Springsteen's "Into the Fire," U2's "All I Want Is You," a duet of Melissa Manchester's "Come in From the Rain, "Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," Irving Berlin's "God Bless America" and the Irish ballad, "Danny Boy. " Tynan also shows off his vocal prowess on a jazz-inspired version of "Luce van de Stelle, "the powerful aria from Puccini's Tosca.
