On this week’s show: -What a 30-million-dollar gift will mean for the future of Biosphere 2. We’ll go for a visit and sit down with Dr Kevin Bonine to discuss. -Tucson’s new downtown hotel opened last week, the first hotel to open in the area since the 1970s. We’ll talk about the hotel’s significance and plans for other hotels with Rio Nuevo’s Fletcher McCusker. -Tucson Tourism’s office claims it was responsible for nearly a quarter of a billion dollars of economic impact last year. We’ll sit down with Visit Tucson’s Dan Gibson to find out what that means for the economy and the future of tourism. -The Jewish History Museum has partnered with The Mexican Consulate on its upcoming cultural block party. We’ll meet with museum director Bryan Davis and Deputy Consul Enrique Gomez to talk about where the idea came from and why the partnership makes sense.
