TUSD CHALLENGES: TUSD Superintendent Gabriel Trujillo is in his second year on the job overseeing Arizona’s second largest school district. He sits down with Lorraine Rivera to discuss his approach so far, recent strides and ongoing challenges with decreasing enrollment. PROP 305: Arizona Daily Star education reporter Hank Stephenson breaks down some of the opposition and support for Proposition 305. The ballot measure is a referendum on a 2017 state law that expanded Arizona’s school voucher program. LEGISLATIVE RACES: Christopher Conover sits down with Arizona Capitol Times reporter Ben Giles to discuss key races in the state legislature, and the likelihood a blue wave could flip seats in local races.
