King Of His Domain, Part 1

Acrylic painting, 18x24 Horizontal. In this episode, Jerry shows his students how to correctly use reference material to make the "King of His Domain" painting as original as possible. Now he explains how to compose the painting. Then makes a rough sketch using soft-vine charcoal. He then shows how to properly use the hake brush to underpaint the sky and distant mountains. Now he finishes the episode by blocking in the foreground rocky cliff formation and minor highlights on distant mountains.
