Sometimes we forget that it's ok to use words on our quilts - it's another element to get your message across. The ABC's are a basic element of many quilts. In the first segment The Pixeladies, Deb Cashatt and Kris Sazaki, explain how they collaborate on creating art quilts - how to work together using the spoken word! Then Kathryn Pellman introduces us to Word Salad. She creates a poem or story using words found in commercial printed fabric with a preprinted fashionista storyteller (also from commercial fabric) to complete the story.
