CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT OVER SUMMER: With tens of thousands of children counting down the weeks to summer break, PCC Early Childhood Education faculty member Teddi Schnurr discusses ways children should spend their time off to ensure they are rested and not behind when they return to the classroom. SOUTH TUCSON YOUTH CENTER: Over the summer, South Tucson’s John Valenzuela Youth Center serves low-income families and provides a safe space for children.
