ARIZONA SPENDING PLAN: This week, Arizona 360 travels to the Arizona Capitol to hear from legislators about the budget plan released this week. Guests include Sen. Paul Boyer (R), Rep. Kirsten Engel (D) and Rep. T.J. Shope (R). KRATOM SALES: A bill signed into law this legislative session regulates the sale of Kratom. Kratom is legal in the U.S. and marketed as an herbal supplement that can also act as an alternative to opioids. Arizona 360 hears from Steve McGuigan of the DEA in Tucson about the agency's concerns with the substance, as well as Kratom advocate and seller Jill Fickett-Sugarman about its uses.
