In this episode, Jerry continues blocking in the second phase of background. With #4 chisel-edge brush Jerry begins blocking in part of the female lion's body. Then with #4 round sable continues blocking in areas of her nose and mouth. Then alternates back to #4 chisel-edge brush to add chin and some highlights to her body -- which forms look of hair. Now with #4 bristle brush, Jerry does more blocking in of male's face and body. With #4 chisel-edge brush, Jerry adds light-colored grass which adds depth to the painting and makes the lion's body stand out more. Next he adds more highlights and details to the lion's body.
