Acrylic on 18x24 stretched canvas. In the first episode, Jerry explains to his viewers how to layout a proper composition of a vertical formatted canvas. Then takes the soft-vine charcoal and makes a rough sketch of the basic components of the objects and land masses. Then shows how to paint a late evening sunset and begin the underpainting of the distant trees and water.
