Since the release of her first album in 2005, singer-songwriter Choncha Buika's mix of styles and languages have defied musical genres. The Latin Grammy-winning vocalist infuses flamenco, jazz, soul, blues and Spanish folk into her music, and sings in everything from English and Armenian to a west African dialect called Bubi. NewsHour Weekend's Tom Casciato sat down with Buika, as she is known professionally, to learn more about the roots of her art and how she continues to forge new ground.
