BORDER PATROL UNION: Lorraine Rivera sits down with Art Del Cueto, vice president of the National Border Patrol Council to discuss how he’s been able to communicate directly with the president about the union’s priorities regarding border security. POLITICAL SPOTLIGHT ON PHOENIX: Steve Goldstein, host of KJZZ radio’ s The Show, talks to Lorraine Rivera about takeaways from the President’s rally there earlier this week, as well as reasons why the city of Phoenix has found itself in the political spotlight. TUCSON’S ECONOMIC TRENDS: Tucson Metro Chamber president Amber Smith discusses factors contributing to the region’s economic growth. RETAINING UA GRADS: About a third of UA undergrads remain in Tucson after they get their bachelor’s degree. That’s according to a survey from the UA Student Engagement and Career Development office. Abra McAndrew, Vice President of Access, Engagement and Opportunity, discusses reasons students choose to stay or go. Rivera also speaks to seniors enrolled in the office’s Blue Chip Leadership program about their plans after graduation.
