Guardians Of The Land

Nestled in the mountains along the Arizona-Mexico border, a U.S. Army post Fort Huachuca is doing its part as stewart of the land. While civ ilian researchers survey vegetation, gauge stream flow and keep close watch over a variety of desert creatures - from local birds to mountai n lions - this "army of cartakers" helps to facilitate preservation of the area.
