WILDFIRE SEASON – With multiple large wildfires burning simultaneously across Arizona, UA School of Natural Resources professor Don Falk discusses what it indicates about this year’s wildfire season especially as it pertains to the Bighorn Fire. MASK ORDINANCE – We hear from the mayors of two municipalities who are taking different approaches to imposing mask requirements. Nogales Mayor Arturo Garino and Marana Mayor Ed Honea. UNEMPLOYMENT CLAIMS – Steve Chucri, a Maricopa County supervisor and head of the Arizona Restaurant Association, discusses how rising cases have impacted the restaurant industry and if workers have expressed concerns about returning to work. SCOTUS DECISIONS – Tony Paniagua follows up on last week’s major SCOTUS rulings to hear from those directly impacted by the high court s decisions on LGBTQ rights and DACA.
