Globally, the COVID-19 outbreak is posing new challenges for how, and if, students will be returning to school this fall and if can be done safely. On Saturday and Sunday, PBS NewsHour Weekend will be exploring what policy makers, educators and parents here in the U.S. are doing to adjust to the possibility that some students may not return to the classroom this fall; and if alternatives like outdoor schooling and home schooling are viable possibilities that could become more permanent in the future.
