A 21st-Century Desert Museum

In 2001, the acclaimed Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum celebrates its 50th anniversary. Over the years, it has increasingly played a leading role in the environment and in society t hrough its research and educational efforts. The museum's director has ambitious outreach plans for the future. This program illustrates tho se plans by taking a behind-the-scenes look at the combination zoo/bot anical garden/educational center.
