As the November election approaches, the fast spread on social media of disinformation on topics from COVID-19 to President Trump's health and Black Lives Matter are wide-ranging. Still, despite recent attempts, technological challenges and inconsistent policies make it difficult to slow the spread of false and misleading claims which could lead to changing voting behaviors in the election.
