As the November election approaches, the fast spread on social media of disinformation on topics from COVID-19 to President Trump's health and Black Lives Matter are wide-ranging. Still, despite recent attempts, technological challenges and inconsistent policies make it difficult to slow the spread of false and misleading claims which could lead to changing voting behaviors in the election. NewsHour Weekend guest host Michael Hill talks with the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill's Deen Freelon who studies the relationship between technology and politics.
