Hosted by singer-songwriter Eric Gnezda, from the Midland Theatre in Newark, OH (Pronunciations: Krist=rhymes with "wrist"; Fratianne= Frat-ee-ANN; Gnezda=NEZZ-duh). CARLY FRATIANNE - Carly Fratianne of the band, Souther, left home at 18 for the haze of Los Angeles, in search of the life she'd spent her childhood dreaming about. After several storied years and with the marks to prove it, she returned to Ohio empty-handed, but thoroughly inspired. With polished chops and something to prove, she began to write. The product was a five-song self-produced EP titled Is for Lovers. JAN KRIST- Jan Krist, originally from Detroit and now of Ft. Wayne, IN, was a New Folk Finalist at the Kerville Music Festival for her songs titled "Someone" and "Daisies in a Bow.l" She is a founding member of the Yellow Room Gang (YRG), a songwriting collective centered in South-East Michigan, and a four-time Detroit Music Award winner. Her 1993 recording, Decapitated Society, was selected by Billboard as that year's best album in a gospel genre. TIMOTHY PAUL - Timothy Paul performs all over the United States, opening up shows for some of the biggest names in the music business, including Kenny Chesney, Jimmy Wayne, Andy Griggs, Brian White, Ty Herndon, Confederate Railroad, and many others. His music has showcased on many radio, television, and online platforms. Timothy's talent comes honest, as his uncle, renowned songwriter Earl "Bud" Lee, penned #1 hits such as "Friends In Low Places" by Garth Brooks, "Who Are You When I'm Not Looking" by Blake Shelton, and "One Night At A Time" by George Strait. As an independent artist, Timothy released his fifth album, Bring Love Back. It is currently available on many major online music platforms. ABOUT THE VENUE - The Midland Theatre was built in 1928, recently restored in its home of Newark, Ohio, the County Seat of Licking County.
