Thirty years ago, the Red Hot organization was founded to raise awareness and money around the AIDS crisis and was dedicated to fighting HIV/AIDS through pop culture. Started in 1990 by Leigh Blake and John Carlin, the Cole Porter tribute album entitled Red Hot + Blue raised millions and helped decrease the stigma around AIDS at the time. Since then, the organization has collaborated with artists around the world on projects to continue to raise awareness. In commemoration of their anniversary, Red Hot is rereleasing popular track lists in the lead up to World Aids Day on December 1st. NewsHour Weekend's Christopher Booker reports.
